Nearly every Friday starting at 3:00pm, the Ross Center hosts a drive thru food pantry. These weekly events allow the community to get what they need, like fresh produce, frozen meats, canned goods, and personal hygiene products. Through the OpenDoor Connections program, neighborhood ambassadors are now spending time directly in Muncie Neighborhoods. Ambassadors are ready to get to know you and help you connect with support resources, healthcare services and coverage, and more.
Your neighborhood ambassador, Joe, is at the Ross Center Tuesdays from 11am-1pm, Thursdays from 2:30pm-5pm, and Fridays from 3pm-5:30pm.
Join us every third Wednesday of the month as we host the monthly neighborhood association meetings. The Thomas Park Avondale Neighborhood Association, currently run by President James Heimlech meets to hear concerns from our neighbors and discuss ideas to better our neighborhood and community. Join us at 6pm.
