The Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County Inc. awarded $136,400 to 11 nonprofits in Delaware County. The Ross Community Center was awarded $25,000.
The funds are to support organizational capacity and supplies needed for the weekly community markets, a trend executive director Jacqueline Hanoman started when she took over the position years back.
“Thank you for believing in us and supporting us as we continue our work walking hand in hand with our community members to fulfill our mission of advancing education, lifelong learning, health and wellness in our diverse community,” Hanoman said in a public statement.
