Indiana down to 1 red county, blue county emerges

By Conner Tighe

Indiana is moving toward a COVID-19 free state for the time being as only one county is now red, Blackford. For the first time in months, a blue county has emerged, Monroe, which displays less than 10 COVID-19 cases. Delaware County continues to remain yellow at the low end of advisory.

Delaware’s positivity rate has decreased a percentage to a little over 6%. The number of booster vaccinations exceeds the single vaccinations by roughly 4,000. The number of completely vaccinated individuals remains stagnant compared to last week, halfway to 51,000 residents.
