Delaware now orange, 3 blue counties emerge

After several weeks of maintaining its yellow status, the next to lowest advisory level, Delaware County, is now orange. All surrounding counties are orange except for Grant and Jay counties which have shifted to red, the highest advisory level. However, Sullivan, Knox, and Ohio counties have shifted to blue, the lowest advisory level.

Fifty-eight COVID-19 related cases have been reported, with two new deaths in Delaware. The positivity rate has increased to 9.7%. Nearly 6,000 booster vaccines have been administered statewide, bringing the total to 612,000 Hoosiers that have received booster vaccines. Fourteen Delaware residents have been added to the fully vaccinated category, bringing the total to over 51,000 fully vaccinated residents.
